Temperatures have been around 110 degrees fahrenheit in South Australia for the past week or so. Jared said that they have had to shut the trains down in his area as the tracks are buckling in the heat.
All you Arizonans are saying - bah - that's nothing! But the Aussies in that area are not used to it, including the wildlife. These photos were taken by a family in New South Wales when a wild Koala wandered onto their back porch looking for some relief from the heat.

Poor little guy. My kids love the pictures of the Koala and finding relief in the heat. It's makes we grateful to the great AC we have in the summer.
