I had mentioned in an earlier blog that Caleb found an American Football League to join. It's an adult league but they let him join anyway. They are called the Porirua Giants and had their first game this past Saturday. And it rained, and poured, and the wind blew and it rained some more and they were all basically drowned rats! I watched the game from the warmth and comfort of the car. Pete wanted to watch from the sidelines and ended up being recruited to hold the post thingy that says what number down it is ( I know, I am not knowledgeable when it comes to football!) So he ended up a drowned rat too. I uploaded a small clip of the game. I don't know if you can see the sheets of rain. Caleb is number 23. He had a blast!

I simply do not see the fun of playing in the wind and rain, I'm sure it was quite cold as well....I shutter to think of it.
